Glossary of Terms - J
A device that connects to your computer, and is used to control the simulated aircraft. The InterLink Controller that comes with RealFlight G2 is considered a Joystick. This is using your own radio to emulate the Interlink Joystick. This allows you to use your own radio to fly any of the stock aircraft in RealFlight. Actual radio functions such as mixing and ATVs are performed in the RealFlight software, not on your radio. This is in contrast to the Direct Control Interface. With RealFlight G2 set to this mode, RealFlight G2 is controlled by the InterLink Controller used as a mockup of a R/C transmitter. Conversely, Interface Mode means that you are using the InterLink controller as an interface to your own R/C radio. In interface mode your own radio controls RealFlight G2.
