Glossary of Terms - T
This is used to keep the throttle at a set position, yet allows input to the collective of the helicopter. Generally it is used to practice autorotation. Toe is the angle of the wheels in relation to the centerline of the chassis. Toe-in refers to the setting when the wheels point 'inward' whilst Toe-out refers to the setting when the wheels point 'outward'. You can check 'Toe' by placing a ruler against each wheel - if the ruler points inward - that's Toe-In. A yellow popup window that appears when you hold the mouse cursor over a RealFlight G2 menu item or dialog item. The text in the Tooltip window describes the item's function. Some elements of a RealFlight G2 landscape are inserted and removed using the Tree editor page of the Advanced Terrain Editor. These include trees, bushes, people and animals.
